Yea! Yea! Yea!

Jimmie is back leading the points again, so I'm chipper about that. I gotta say though, I'd be much more cheerful about the whole thing if he could have just beet ol' Tony Stewart. But, Tony was a better driver and/or had a better car than us obviously. Although it was pretty nerve-wracking when the two of them were bumpin' and bobbling there for a while. Nail Biting Time!

It was a pretty good race. Gotta be impressed with Junior's team and driving, though. His car looked like it fell out of a meat grinder and he pulled off a top five. WOW.

How about that great skill FOX shows in televising the race? It is soooooo frustrating to miss the restarts because they can't make it back from commercial in time. How frigging retarded do you have to be not to notice that the pace car lights are off so maybe we better get back to taping? Assholes.

Anyway. I'll stop my Nascar blithering now.

Yesterday I drove something like a zillion miles. My brother just got promoted to Major in the army and had a ceremony out in Fort !rwin which, if you don't know, is in BFE. AND, being that I live in North San Diego... yeah, it was a little bit of a drive. Well, the good news was that we attended a party at about the 1/3 point the night before, so at least we were closer for getting started - except that we had to be there at 9, making us have to get UP at 6am.... oh yeah, the morning the time changed. So, I got like 4 hours of sleep... MAYBE, and Mr. SD got about 3 hrs of sleep! Brutal... but it was my bro and all.

Hey, great news! My faith in mankind was once again dashed. I just hung up with State Farm and the guy who hit me on the freeway two nights before Christmas, you know the guy who said "I'm a good Christian man, don't worry I'll take care of you... blah blah blah" told his insurance company that he was not involved in an accident. The good news for me is that he is obvious just as smart as he is honest, because if he didn't get in an accident with me, how come I have his insurance info and personal telephone numbers AND driver's license number!?! What an ass. This is the good news, because even if State Farm blows this and doesn't get my deductible back, thus losing me as a customer... I can go to court and prove what a liar this guy is and for the first time in my life, maybe I won't get the short stick in one of these situations. I am so AGAINST the whole suing everybody thing, but I am sooo tired of getting screwed when someone HITS ME that I told myself the night it happened - "if this guy screws me over, I am not taking it in the ass this time...I'm going to fight back". How sad that people can't just take responsibility for their actions but instead have to treat people like shit. I'm a little angry, but also completely unsurprised.

Okay, this has gotten long and likely boring...it's time to pack up and head home for an exciting night of College Football! Thank god I have a book to read.
